I have not worked with this for a long time now, but you can set a registry string to something (sorry I forgot) to disable password verification for internal.

Then you can rename/delete (good luck) the hidden file:

%oracle_home%\database\pwd%sid%.ora

usually: C:\ORANT\DATABASE\PWDORCL.ORA

and use oradim?? to recreate it with an new password.

RTF OS specific documentation for accurate instructions.

I just noticed this key in my registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ORACLE/DBA_AUTHORIZATION="oracle"

You might be able to ckeck there for the password...
