Hi all,

RDBMS Version: Oracle 8.0.4
OS Version: Reliant UNIX 5.43

Anybody out there experience any problems with the listener process growing to a point where it blows the system resources?

Essentially the number of blocks of memory used by the process just keeps getting bigger until there are no more available, it's possibly due to a number of automatic processes that connect at regular intervals.

World Wide Support are stumped, I've never seen this before, perhaps one of you have.

Glenn.
