OpenView and Oracle

Hi, all:

I am trying to get HP OpenView to monitor oracle 7.3.4 databases. The inteligent agent and master agent are configured already and running. I am using OEM 1.6, Oracle 7.3.4 on HP/UX 10.20 and the agent that comes with 7.3.4. I have a couple of problems with OEM. When I registerred the event, tablespacefull, multiple extents, I got registration failure error, saying that event file not found. Then for the event thatis working, Oracle DB up and down, it is not sending me email and is not causing SNMP trap at agent, isn't it supposed to send a trap to OpenView? Just out of curiosity, how do you monitor your Oracle databases? I have called Oracle support, they have no clue either.

Any ideas?
