Database is the MOST important application which is used almost everywhere -- from commercial applications to scientific applications, astronomy, mathematics, astrophysics, atomic/nuclear research ... you name it, database is there and is omni-present.

To meet the requirements of the 21st century database, efforts are underway to develop the BEST and the MOST "powerful & perfect" database system in this whole WORLD. Such a task can only be accomplished by GIANT GLOBAL organisation/company like INTERNET in a open source code environment. The open source code eliminates confusion, duplication of work and re-invention of wheels and will establish a SINGLE global standard. It will also optimise the national resources.
