They told me 'the number of "Concurrent Devices" is the maximum number of input devices accessing the programs on the Designated System at any given point in time. If multiplexing hardware (e.g. a TP monitor or a webserver product) is used, this number must be measured at the multiplexing front end.
A "Named User" or "Developer" is an individual authorized by the customer to use the Programs on the Designated System, regardless of whether the individual is actively using the programs at any given time.
Oracle's current pricing model for support is calculated per product, per user, per support type.'
Of course, if you make a mistake, the license police will take you away! (Just kidding, unlike certain other companies, Oracle trusts you to do the right thing, whatever you may think that is).
