Hi:
You need a recovery strategy, not a backup strategy. This should include recovery testing. Make sure that you are setting the tablespaces into backup mode before you use NT backup on the database files. If not, you're backup will be worthless. I would suggest giving the Oracle Backup and Recovery Guide a very detailed reading.
