Hi!
Go and get ORACLE patch 8.0.4.2 from ORACLE support.
It is exactly the same problem that cost me 1/2 a day before
finding this to be a GENERIC bug in 8.0.4 !
The problem occurs (I quote from the patch's README),
when SQL*LOADER tries to write a record bigger than 270 byte to
the *.bad or *.dis files. Obviously, ORACLE only uses very small
records for it's test cases ;-)
I'm shure this patch will help: I've just tested it...
