Hi Stefan,
The installation procedure for Oracle on NT creates a runaway thread executing the createdb.sql. This has always been the case! It will log the session in createdb.log in the same directory, and it will shut and restart the db afterwards. You can only look at the (contents of) the file in Explorer and pray. Usually there is no problem however. So this is working as designed.
