That's so true. I don't understand why Oracle not try to standardized the name. For example, 1. when you create an object, the storage is initial, next, pctincrease and so on. But when you query on the dictionary, it becomes initial_extent, next_extent and pct_increase and so on.

2. dba_data_files and v$datafile.. why make the datafile sometimes one word and sometimes two word.

3. the most confusing things is in the report.txt file generated from the utlbstat/utlestat. The rollback segments become the UNDO_SEGMENT!!!
