Thanks for the reply. I've been using the DECODE function, but the problem I
have is that there is a varying # of discrete values for my dimension column.
That's why I'm trying to generate SQL at runtime which first determines how
many discrete values there are, and then generates the SELECT statement with
the proper # of DECODE calls. Obviously, this approach is messy. I'm open to
any suggestions. Thanks again.
