Replication under Oracle 8

I'm looking for information on what advanced replication under Oracle 8 is capable of.

Basically, will it be able to handle a situation of 20 or so databases, each being updated, and replicated daily/weekly/whatever to a main database over an ISDN/dial-up link?

Ideally I'd like pointers to people/companies who have such a system running rather than to Oracle themselves! - If anyone has come across a URL or a contact describing the above, please let me know, preferably by e-mail.
