We determine the correct strings but the usual way to communicate from VB4 does not work. We been told that the we have to access WIN APIs to communicate but that seems exterme

We have to use 16-bit for technical reasons. (VB app is going to be called from a 16 bit app so VB app needs to be 16-bit requiring it run 16-bit ODBC)
