Oracle 8 on Novell, Win95 Workstations.
We have recently acquired Oracle 8 for Novell. We've installed the sample
database and the Database Administration Tools for Windows on a Novell File
Server. We then did the steps to install the Tools on a Primary Workstation
and Secondary Workstation. This is where we're hosed. On my workstation,
the install process put a 'Oracle Client Software Agent 32 Bit' in my
startup directory. Now, when this runs, I get an error saying
"Win32.cfg(131) OS_ERROR while setting value ORACLE_HOME". I also noticed
that the Oracle.INI file is completely empty. Does ANYONE out there have a
clue as to what maybe our problem?
