Objects option in Oracle8

The Oracle 8 documentation sort of suggests (in section
on V$OPTION doc server.804/a58228/ch3.htm#31612
that Objects option is extra cost option.



However, calling oracle support, they say
it is included in enterprise. If so, how does
one turn it on? i did an install of


enterprise 8.0.4 and V$OPTION has


Objects FALSE
