RAID5 I assume - totally inappropriate for a write-intensive applications. My experience is with Sun (and AIX in the past), not HP/UX, but the principle remains. And... I don't care what the hardware vendor told you, never, NEVER, *NEVER* put your online redo logs on RAID5!!!! Received on Tue Jul 21 1998 - 22:58:50 CDT
