Project Manager/Oracle Enterprise Guru

Project Manager/ Oracle Guru in Chicago, Illinois to work for a major Software Developer/ Systems Iintegrator. Individual will manage and lead an information Technology enterprise focused on leading edge Oracle Database (DB) Architecture, design and implementation activities for a large metropolitan government organization. The Individual will be responsible for all TASC activities associated with on-going DB architecture, design and implementation activities, building and maintaining enterprise wide Oracle applications and supporting City Department architecture, technical, and strategic planning activities. Will work closely with TASC management, TASC City support team, and the city government personnel to define TASC's future support requirements, develop project plans, support staffing requirements, process delivery orders, and manage all city projects within all technical, cost schedule and business objectives. Additionally will support management objectives of expanding IT business with the various clients. Individual must be proficient in at least one technical discipline such as Enterprise DBMS architecture and design, OO design tools and methodologies, or in developing SW applications using oracles development tool set, Java, and HTML. Must also be well versed across all IT technical disciplines, such as enterprise DBMS, SW design, development and implementation, network infrastructures and technologies, machine operating systems. WWW technologies etc. Individual must be available for occasional travel, as well as have the ability to independently manage projects and lead other team members.

Individual must have experience in one or more of the following areas:

DB architecture, design, and implementation, and/or Enterprise DBMS/SQL and PL/SQL and/or Enterprise DBMS SW application development. Must also have demonstrated experience in one of the following areas; Unix, Windows NT and/or mini systems operating systems and Project/Task/technical team leadership. Must have excellent written and verbal skills and it is desirable to have experience in Metropolitan, state or local government IT management and support, and/or WWW technologies (HTML, JAVA, JAVA BEANS) and/or Network infrastructures and technologies (Network OP systems, routers, bridges etc.). In addition DBMS/DB related professional certification would also be desirable. Secret Clearance Nice but not necessary .
