Rolf,

    With SQL Plus, create a shortcut on your desktop and change the target to:

[path]\PLUS33W.EXE [user_name]/[password]@[host-string]

Example: C:\ORAWIN95\BIN\PLUS33W.EXE scott/tiger_at_big_server

...and then label the shortcut icon anything you would like.

     I believe that you can NOT do the same with the Enterprise manager. Besides, would you really want the password to system accounts just laying out on your desktop?
