Is it safe to run Oracle & Mumps on one server

Hello.

We've got a Digital Alpha 1200 5/400, 896MB, 17.2GBdisk running Intersystems mumps and it has been proposed to us by a system supplier that we can safely run Oracle (workgroup server V7.3.3) on the same box.

We have had some problems running mumps & other OS's on the same box & are a bit worried!

The questions we have are:

Will it work?
What will the performance be like?
Has it been done before?
