Oracle Raw Devices with Unixware

Hi,

I am evaluating UnixWare 7 with Oracle 7.3.2.2 and I am keen to test the performance of raw devices. I have tried to make a raw tablespace with the line

create tablespace ts_raw
datafile '/dev/rdsk/c0b0t0d0s0p1'
size 100M;

hoping to create a raw tablespace in the second (unformatted) partion on drive 1.

All I get is this error:

ORA-01119: error in creating database file '/dev/rdsk/c0b0t0d0s0p1' ORA-07352: sfccf: create error, unable to create file. NCR System 3000 Error: 13: Permission denied

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
