Problem : Export from Unix Oracle 7.3.3. / Import to Personal Oracle 7.3.2

Would appreciate if any one can help me with export/import problem. I want to import a file into Personal Oracle 7.3.2 in Win 95 from export file from Oracle 7.3.3 in Unix .
On trying to IMPORT, I am getting the following error messages :-

IMP - 00010: Not a valid Export file, header failed verification IMP - 00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

I want to know whether it is possible to do so. If it is possible, then how to solve this problem. FTP of export file from Unix to PC should be done in bin mode or the normal mode ?
