What is the Best Hardware for Oracle 8?

Our company is looking at Oracle 8, AOS, and Oracle Proxy Server to connect
4 locations through the Internet.  We value stability over easy of use.  I
was looking at Solaris over NT because of NT crashes all the time for other
app but that might not be true for Oracle 8.  Any suggestion would be
greatly appreciated.
