Milliseconds in Oracle?

Hello All,

I am in the process of converting a Sybase database to Oracle, for a client, and have a slight delimma. Does Oracle support milliseconds in the native DATE datatype? You see, Sybase does. If not, any suggestions? Some of their data is time sensitive, down to the millisecond.

Thanks in advance,
