I have trouble running my pro*C program which essentially spools the table data into ascii delimited text files. I repeatedly get the error ..ORA-01013 which says "USER REQUESTED CANCEL OF CUTTENT OPERATION". I do not understand this .. because nobody cancels or kills this job .. I do not see why this should happen .. It does not happen to all the tables that I spool.. It happens only to specific tabls and they are bigger than usual .. I had run this on a particular table more than 10 times .. I get this error message at different times .. I mean it spools different number of records at different times and then issues this error message .. I am running Oracle 7.2.3 on HP-UX 10.X .. Is this a bug in Oracle .. or am I missing something .. Any info regarding this would be sincerely appreciated ..!
