We run a very large Webserver app for our enrolments at uni. We find that cartridges will simply grow and grow until max is reached, at this point you must start/stop the web listener. It seems that the wrb21 processes, even in quiet periods, will not die if it has reached MaxRequests and therefore, your wrb21 count always goes UP, never fluctuating. WAS 3.0 doesnt have the multiple wrb21 processes, but suffers from memory leakage and ive heard of reports of it resetting/crashing for no apparent reason (process leaks on other oracle process memory areas?).
