? Session killed - procedure works ?

I'm trying to write a PL/Sql procedure. Some times (wrong loops, dbms_pipe owerflow, etc.) the procedure works indefinitely. I kill the session. But however I can't update the procedure - it's locked till db shutdown. Is there any way to stop procedure for update?
