I have SORT_AREA_SIZE of 1M, on Windows95. But my RAM is 64M. Sort_Area_Size
that you specify has to reside in the RAM (and outside your SGA, within your
PGA). So it depends on your RAM size, and your SGA size, along with other
applications you have open on your machine.
