The ORA-3113 error is a very generic error. It can occur if someone
killed an Oracle process while an application was left running or if
someone forked a process and carried the database connection through
child processes! What I'm saying is that, you have to investigate your
alert.log and the trace files generated as a result of it. It is very
possible
that the data you are looking for is sitting on a corrupt OS block !
The best solution would be to contact Oracle support regarding this.
