OEM - where does the agent run?

We are running 7.1 and 7.2 on HP-UX.  I want to run the latest Win OEM
against the DBs.  Where does the OEM agent run?  On the HP boxes?  If I could
get an NT instance up can I create the OEM repos. in NT and have the agent
run on NT and still get to the HP DBs?
