Any problems reinstalling NT on Oracle server?

I'm the only support person here at the office and I need to reinstall NT 3.51 on our server that's running Oracle 7. Will reinstalling NT mess with the database at all? I'm going to do a full backup in any case but was wondering if this is going to turn out to be some long involved process.
