Reconnecting to Oracle gets ORA-1075

Hi,

I have a PL/SQL program that basically runs in an infinite loop that sends off queries to an
Oracle 7 server. My problem is that when the Oracle server goes down and my program
tries to reconnect to the server after it comes back up, I get an "ORA-1075 currently logged on"
message.

Any suggestion/solution/explanation to my problem would be greatly appreciated !!
