THIS TIP IS TRASH. The enqueue_resources parameter sets the size of the x$ksqrs table. This table is protected by a latch, however there is NO relationship between the size of the table and the activity on the latch. Also, your terminology of 'timeouts' and 'immediates' is at best ambiguous.

If the folk at RevealNet cannot come up with decent technical content, then I believe that their use of this newsgroup should be censured as advertising in the same way that the Platinum posting were recently.
