Error in executing submitted job

Hi,
After I've submitted a job via the package dbms_job, there's an error encountered during the execution of the job which is recorded in the snp log files that says:

ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 6 ORA-02394: exceeded session limit on IO usage, you are being logged off

I've no problems when I run the job interactively using dbms_job.run. Is there something that I've missed out? I'm using Oracle 8.0.3 on Solaris 2.5.1 . TIA.
