JavaScript and SQLCA

We are creating a Intranet application using ORACLE with Netscape Serve 3.5.1 and Livewire(JavaScript). I was not able to find anything on using SQLCA that usually comes with the Precompiled languages in JavaScript/LiveWire. What we are trying to do is determine the number of rows that will be return from a cursor(in precompilespecified in sqlerrd(3) of the sqlca). But we can't seem to find an documentation on it. Does anybody have an suggestions.
