ODBC to Oracle 7.3 ?

Im using the Oracle 32-bit ODBC driver to connect MS Excel to an Oracle 7.3 database which resides on an HP 9000. I execute one query to get data into the spreadsheet.

My problem is that the ODBC or the query is prompting for a password multiple times. Why?

Any comments or suggestion are appreciated.
