We tried to upgrade our oracle 7.1.4 Server for Solaris to version
7.3.3.
After following the steps of the server migration guide the following
message appears after login as (ordinary) user:
ERROR:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00904: invalid column name
Error accessing PRODUCT_USER_PROFILE
Warning: Product user profile information not loaded!
You may need to run PUPBLD.SQL as SYSTEM
Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO
ERROR:

ORA-00904: invalid column name
Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO You may need to install the Oracle Procedural option SET APPINFO requires Oracle Server Release 7.2 or later
Connected to:
Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.3.0.0 - Production Release
With the distributed option
PL/SQL Release 2.3.3.0.0 - Production
login as system leads to the following mesaage:

Does anybody knows what causes the problem and how it can be solved?
