Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Designer 2000 V1.3.2 RON Problem
Hi all
Platforms:
Designer 2000 V.1.3.2 running on Windows 95,
Solaris 2.5.1 Server,
Oracle RDBMS 7.3.2
I have a problem with Designer 2000 regarding the Repository Object
Navigator (RON). An application system called X has been deleted from the
RON by the RON owner.
Once the application system was removed from the RON I wanted to create a
new application system with the same name X.
When I try to create the new application system with the same name ie. X I
get the following error message.
CDA-06015: Access control violation. Application system name X already exists.
I have confirmed that the application system doesn’t exist in the RON. I have viewed the CI_APPLICATION_SYSTEMS view and it still contains the application system X even though I removed the application system via the RON. That’s why I get the above error message!!
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can remove the application system via the CI_APPLICATION_SYSTEMS view or SDD_ELEMENTS table. I’ve noticed that the CI_APPLICATION_SYSTEMS table references about 30 other views/tables. Is there any other areas of the application system that needs to be cleaned up or looked at????
