Hi all,

I have a rather silly question. We are running Oracle7 Server Release 7.2.3.0.0 - Production Release on a sun4m sparc (SunOS). This is on a server sunoracle and I want to be able connect to the data base using JDBC thin driver provided by Oracle. My problem is that I do not know which port to connect to. The person who set up Oracle has left and no one here is not sure about this. Can anyone tell me how do I make sure that Oracle is listening to a connection on a particular port. Is there any way of finding this out. I know this is rather stupid question to ask, but as a last resort I am doing this.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter ...

Thankx a lot ...
