URGENT!!! Extremely slowly table access after delete

Hello everybody

We have a big problem with Oracle 7.3.2.3.1 , 7.3.3.4 on NT and 7.3.2.3.1 on Aix.
After a big delete (>100000 rows) on a table we have a slowly table access.
I run a select count (*) , 1minutes for 0 rows. Oracle say to me 'it's the block clean out, run a select count (*) and it will be OK'. I've been execute this statement and it's the same problem. My temporary solution is Export / Drop / Import.
