The explain plan output changes a little according to the Oracle version you are using.

if g\you just want a quick look, you can get our CodfishSQL Lite (free edition) at www.cardume.com where you can execute a SQL or review it's plan. But if you really want to do some tuning, you can download a test version of our TunaSQL product. It gives you an explorer-like interface to detail information on statistics and plans; it also lets you easily compare versions and SQL Hints (it's available at www.dbesoftware.com)
