Hi Paul,

        The server handles between the years 4712BC to 4712. Should do 2000 ok. It includes full date and time down to seconds. A date/time is converted into several 7-byte fields and written. The tools seem to use the same procedure for date handling - to write, change or access - and it seems to have little performance impact. See your Concepts Manual.
