Hmm... DBWR setting? Are you referring to the setting that specifies
the number of DBWRs?
Well, you can set it to whatever you want... but the max number of
DBWRs on NT is 1. Multiple DBWRs are used on ports which do not
provide async I/O. As NT provides async I/O, 1 is sufficient.
Have you tried increasing the number of db_block_buffers... ensure you have enough RAM for it.
