Prob w/ 7.3.3 install on IRIX6.4(64bit)

When I'm installing Oracle v7.3.3, I'm getting a "permission denied" when calling the 'getcwd' cmd.
This is a system call and there should be no problem here. My Sys Admin says the OS installation is complete and even has all the compilers installed.
I had problems w/ installing 7.3.3 on another IRIX6.4 platform, but remember details.

Has anyone else seen this error or had probs intalling onto this version of UNIX? Here is the error:
