Oracle SQL*Net failing for multiple IP addresses

Has anyone out there tried running Oracle Server 7.3 on NT Server 4.0, and had problems arise with SQL*Net? I can get SQL*Net aliases to work fine when the server has only one IP address, but if I add a second IP address using NT's network control panel and reboot, SQL*Net connections stop working.

This happens whether I use separate network cards (each with its own IP address) or one network card with multiple IP addresses, and I am at a loss. Any leads are appreciated, as this has become a major obstacle for me.

Thanks,

Fred
