check how your buffer hit ratios are doing. if they are in the 90% range then you can reduce your db_block_buffers until you see the hit ratio drop below its current rate. if your ratio is currently below 90%, then increase db_block_buffers, which will in turn create a larger SGA. what do your latch statistics look like at this time?
