The 'ops$' prefix is just a standard that most shops use. The blank for the prefix should work too.
The problem was this person wasn't starting sqlplus with the command 'sqlplus /'. The slash that signifies OS validation is the key. Received on Fri Sep 26 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
