Isn't it amazing that virtual memory is now common place. Touted as fabulous idea when new! But virtual disk available on the Uni 1100/2200 series back in the '70's never caught on. You could have 10 gig of virtual disk but only 3 gig of real disk. The OS did the roll-ins/roll-outs automatically.
