Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> ORA-600 in Netware Server
One of my customers keeps getting ORA-00600 - arguments [4127][2007][2006] when he tries to truncate a table that has associated indexes. The error does not show up if he issues a DELETE statement, instead of the TRUNCATE TABLE, or if the truncated table has no indexes, but it's preventing the use of snapshots, for instance, once snapshots always have at least one index.
This happens to ORACLE FOR NETWARE, version 7.2.2.4.6, running under NetWare 4.1. The funny point is that he has two other servers, running the same versions of NetWare (with all related patches applied) and ORACLE, that do not show this behaviour. Maybe there's a difference that is so subtle that I couldn't frame it so far.
Does anyone out there have any idea on this subject? The darn thing is getting them crazy...
Thanks in advance
