Is it possible to invoke sendmail from a stored procedure on
Oracle Webserver 2.0? After a user adds a particular record, we'd
like to have the webserver send a notification e-mail off to
someone. Is there any easy way to do this?
I'm a Perl user, so would appreciate solutions using Perl if it
requires the use of another language. Thanks.

I'm using solaris 2.5 at the moment, but would also be interested
in knowing how one would send e-mail from Oracle webserver running
on an NT box.
Lastly, could anyone recommend a good 3rd party book on building
web applications with Oracle webserver 2.0? Thanks.
