How to allocate table in memory during application lifetime .

Hello ,
What is the best way if any to make sure that the table is resident in the memory,

i'm sick and tired of hearing my disk roaring "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

the table is about 500K and i'm accessing it about 1000 times in a min.
