Having had Oracle8 running on NT and Solaris for about 2 months now as part of the Oracle8 Beta program, I have to agree with Jurij. The advances are massive!

The good news is that you won't have to wait long before you can get your hands on Oracle8 if you have a maintenance release for your Oracle7 database. The official release date is later this month!

After that, all of us O8 Beta sites can start to talk a little bit more about the features, but not totally freely.
